Who We Are |
The Angel Inn is a family-friendly restaurant & pub with a rural character and cosy, relaxed atmosphere situated in the village of Maudlam, Bridgend. We are just minutes away from the Kenfig National Nature Reserve, one of the finest wildlife habitats in Wales, and a very short distance from the popular Margam Park (exit motorway at junction 38 of the M4).
We care about the quality of food we serve and were our food comes from and are committed to providing home-cooked meals prepared using local ingredients whenever possible, at affordable prices. Vast majority of our dishes is prepared on site from scratch. We peel, cut and fry our chips on the premises using only good quality British potatoes. Our seafood is supplied daily directly from Swansea Marina and our meat comes fresh directly from a long established Gower family butchers. All our eggs are now Cyw Hapus free-range eggs that come from a local Brynchwith Farm based in the village of Heol Y Cyw, Bridgend, where the chickens are free to roam the fields and express natural behaviours across the fields. www.cywhapus.co.uk We use fresh Welsh milk from our local Ty Tanglwyst Dairy based in Pyle, where the cows are free to graze the vast farm pastures. www.tytanglwystdairy.com We serve the award winning Welsh Mario's luxury ice cream made from milk from local family farms. Our History |
Since April 2013 the pub has been run by landlord David Stone and his family with the help from a dedicated team of chefs and front of house staff.
